John Leech
John Leech joined C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. in February 2009 as Director, Talent Acquisition. The focus has been to build programs to attract, screen and retain top talent for the C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. brands. The C&S Talent Acquisition Team is committed in becoming a premier talent management organization and magnetic employment brand to further position C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. as a best places to work.
Previously John was the VP of Talent Acquisition at Athletes’ Performance, the world leader in providing integrated performance training services to elite athletes. At AP, John created value added systems to increase compliance and employment brand recognition.
Before John joined Athletes’ Performance, he was the Director of Recruitment at FedEx in Memphis, TN. While John lived in Memphis, he enjoyed good ole Southern BBQ and spent his days helping to re-engineer the FedEx recruitment process with a focus on innovation, compliance, performance metrics and team member growth/development.
Prior to joining FedEx, John was the VP of Recruitment for the largest privately held staffing company in the United States and over the last 15 years, has held many other leadership roles for other private and public recruiting organizations while living in Colorado.
When John’s not in the office working with the talented team of recruiters at C&S, you can find him spending time with his family around New England. John is also an avid SCUBA diver, enjoys Southern BBQ, and to counter balance the BBQ will spend many hours running or skiing on the trails and slopes in New Hampshire.
