I started my career at C&S in the BA Program while many of my friends went off to consulting jobs. C&S felt like a place where I wasn’t just going to be considered a number, I could apply myself and develop at my own pace versus a previously determined regimen. While on the Procurement Analytics team, I had the opportunity to build and develop a prototype into a supported system with IS. We were constantly innovating; I was given a lot of responsibility in a short period of time, so I decided that it was right for me. Now, as the manager of the team, I’ve proven to myself I made the right decision after college. I’ve been able to create a steady work/life balance – Keene gives me the chance to enjoy the outdoors or I can take a quick trip down to Boston or NYC for the weekend. I don’t regret going in a different direction than my friends after graduation, because I still look forward to working every day and being able to take advantage of the endless opportunities at C&S.
