My co-op with ES3 has been challenging, rewarding and eye-opening. In a fast-paced work environment, I have learned the benefit of using detailed, analytical thinking with a practical, operational focus. I’ve learned the importance of obtaining knowledge in the field; I was fortunate enough to travel to four C&S warehouses, conduct yard audits and look for opportunities to improve safety, reduce costs and optimize the transportation business. I work closely with hands-on, positive, and influential managers and teammates. My team is very supportive and ensures that I have the resources not only to perform well, but to excel. I have the power and responsibility to make justified recommendations for business improvements nationwide. I appreciate that I can make contributions that directly impact the way business is conducted.
