As a Food Marketing major at St. Joseph’s University, C&S and the Merchandising department could not have been a better match for me. Upon arrival I was trained on the wholesale industry, C&S’s business model, and specific processes of the Merchandising department. My immediate team, Supply Chain/Trade Relations has shown me tactical ways to negotiate and make a profit in an industry with low profit margins. They have been incredibly supportive of my projects and personal development. While in SCTR, I was given the opportunity to evaluate several business processes and provide recommendations to management. As result, improvements were implemented which benefited C&S, and I gained a global perspective on how business decisions are made. Aside from work, living in Keene is an awesome experience. I have made strong connections with professionals of all ages and never experienced a dull moment; whether it is golfing with co-workers, hiking with friends, or enjoying a night on Main Street! "
