I double-majored in Supply Chain Management and Marketing and joined the OLID Program at C&S. The OLID Program consists of rotations throughout different departments in Operations. I’ve managed an entire shift consisting of hundreds of shipments, operated equipment and everything in between. I’ve spent time in HR, Transportation and have worked on special projects within the warehouse. The program has structure, but you must keep up with the fast-paced warehouse lifestyle which can be unpredictable. As an OLID, you are seen as a leader and expected to use your knowledge in order to assist in decision making and assure shifts run smoothly. Everyone within management will act as a mentor. From the supervisors you work alongside day to day to upper-level corporate management, everyone is always willing to answer questions or involve you in anything you may be interested in. The experience I’m getting in the warehouse is truly unique and will stay with me wherever I go within the company! "
