A Driver will drive a tractor-trailer truck to transport products to customers and pick up product at designated backhaul vendors.

A Warehouse Selector will work individually selecting full case items from a warehouse pick slot. The Warehouse Selector will fit these items on a pallet, plastic-wrap the bundles, and deliver the pallet to a dock where they are loaded onto a trailer. This is a physically demanding position. A Warehouse Selector will be constantly standing, walking, riding, carrying, twisting, bending, seeing, hearing, handling paperwork, lifting objects weighing from less than 20 lbs to 60 lbs, stooping, balancing, and hearing.

 Administrator Warehouse Systems- EXE-Infor-Unix  East Coast (final location flexible at this time, initially looking to locate at Collington, MD)        About C & S Wholesale Grocers: Our commitment to technology has driven growth and been a key factor in C&S Wholesale Grocers becoming the largest wholesale grocery supply company in the U.S. and the lead supply chain company in the food industry.  We are advancing technology in all of its operations, currently moving to Enterprise based platforms and software.   Our 60+ facilities feature state of the art warehouse, Labor and transportation management systems, Voice recognition software, robotics, web-based technology and integrated logistics systems enabling C&S the flexibility to redefine the food supply chain industry. The candidate selected for this EXE System Administrator role, will for all facilities, be utilizing, testing, helping to upgrade and installing, Infor EXE Technologies 5.3 or 5.6 UNIX versions and train other warehouse systems administrators, for Infor EXE Technologies 5.3 UNIX based warehouse management software. At this time, Only Candidates with 3 to 5 years EXE systems experience will be considered.  What are the biggest challenges in the job? The position requires knowledge of warehouse operations and EXE software. The candidate must be able to adapt to different warehouse environments as we move to implement EXE in over 70 facilities nationwide.  The candidate must be able to work with a small team and transfer knowledge and expertise using a set of tools that the team will be creating. The candidate must be able to communicate their point of view of best practices to a larger audience. What technologies will I be working with now and in the future?  EXE is UNIX based application with Oracle data base. The application is accessed via the web and the candidate must have general technical knowledge in operating a windows based applications such as Visio, Power Point and other MS products.  We use Crystal report writer and in the future we will begin using Cognos. Other technologies in use are print and RF/voice. What is typical day for this opportunity? Problem analysis of this position is essential. The candidate will put to use his/her knowledge of EXE and warehouse operations on daily bases as we analyze open issues and the concerns of the warehouse in which EXE is being implemented. Testing and training will occupy most of the candidate’s time. What are the groups and ongoing project objectives?  3 months?  6 months?  1 year?The project is a multiyear rollout project as a whole and consists of several implementation projects. Each implementation project could last 2 to 5 months depending on the number of warehouses in the facility. Each implementation project is conducted on site and therefore the candidate must be able to adapt to the travel patterns. What other groups will I be working with?Daily and constant contact with Corporate IT and warehouse operations. What are the mission critical objectives for this opportunity? Due to the aggressive nature of this rollout, preparing reusable training and testing materials are critical to the success of the project. Preparing standard operating procedures and operating process flows are very critical to the success of the project.
