What Does This Job Do?A Selector works individually selecting full case grocery items from a warehouse pick slot. The selector fits these items on a pallet (Are you good at Tetris?), plastic wraps the bundles, and in some cases, loads them onto a trailer. In some locations, order sheets are used and the selector affixes selection labels to the appropriate cases. In other locations, audio headsets are used and the selector hears the item in the order to be picked from the slot. Your safety is our ultimate concern so Steel Toed shoes are required.
RefrigerationTechnician
The primary purpose of this position is to: Oversee the safe operation, daily monitoring and maintenance of large scale industrial computer based ammonia and R-22 refrigeration systems. Oversee the safe operation, daily monitoring and maintenance of industrial and office HVAC systems. Provide assistance to Supervisor of Maintenance to ensure assets (Refrigeration/HVAC/Electrical systems) are managed in accordance with the following: IIAR (International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration), ASHRE (American Society of HVAC and Refrigeration Engineers), ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), EPA, OSHA and applicable State and Local Codes.

Perishables Selector Helper
The Selector Helper's position consists of reading customer orders, determining where the product is located in a warehouse of several hundred thousand square feet, removing full cases of product from the storage rack (anywhere from floor level to sixty inches in height) and placing the product on a pallet jack. A Selector Helper must properly stack the selected cases onto a pallet jack in such a manner that will ensure the product is not damaged and arrives saleable to our Customer. Cases are usually stacked to an approximate height of six feet. When an order is completed, the pallets are driven to the loading dock to be manually wrapped with shrink-wrap. The roll of shrink wrap is held at heights ranging from floor level to as high as six feet or more. All job functions of a Selector Helper are accomplished while walking on concrete floors and wearing steel toed safety shoes/boots (steeled toed shoes/boots are mandatory). A Selector Helper walks approximately 4 to 6 miles on any given shift. A Selector Helper works 30 hours per week minimum (with mandatory overtime).
